You are invited to a glorious party to celebrate the seventh birthday of a resilient little cat!&nbsp; Benny was rescued as a kitten from a home plagued by domestic abuse. He&nbsp;arrived at Long Beach Animal Care Services with broken bones, a fractured jaw, and a spirit in need of healing. Cat Rescue Helen Sanders&nbsp;CatPAWS provided him with medical care that helped him walk again. Even better, CatPAWS board member Bev Leifer instantly fell in love with Benny, adopted him and so gave him the life he never otherwise would have come close to having.
This month, we celebrate our boy with a&nbsp;day of family-friendly fun! Partygoers can&nbsp;enjoy a vendor fair, an included lunch, games and prizes, arts and crafts, face painting, a raffle, and, of course, birthday cake! Benny will be there to blow out the candles—well, he'll have help!&nbsp;You'll meet adorable, adoptable kittens who, like Benny, are hoping to find their own loving families. The shelter at Long Beach Animal Care Services will bring their Adoption Waggin’, and partygoers can tour CatPAWS’ spay/neuter mobile clinic, which the party will also help fund. All funds will go to CatPAWS—the parties have raised $10,000 since the first one four years ago.
