Stanford Blood Center Opens Dublin Location

The center will donate blood to local hospitals and VA centers. Donate during December for a chance to win a number of prizes.

DUBLIN, CA — Leaders from Dublin and Pleasanton attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the new Tri-Valley Stanford Blood Donation Center, located at 3738 Fallon Road in Dublin.

The new center offers 1,000 square feet of donation space, four blood donation chairs and one SuperRed apheresis machine, free parking, and proximity to shops, I-580, and Dublin BART, according to a news release from Stanford Blood Center.

The center will donate 100 percent of blood collected to Stanford Hospitals and Clinics, the Palo Alto VA, and select Bay Area hospitals.

Appointments can be scheduled online through stanfordbloodcenter.org, the SBC mobile app, or by calling 888-723-7831 or texting 999-777. Donors should be in good health, 17 or over, and bring a photo ID. Further eligibility should be determined here.

Anyone who donates from Dec. 18-31 is automatically entered to win an e-gift card for $3,000 worth of groceries. During the same dates, every donor will get 2000 bonus points to spend at the Stanford Blood Center Loyalty Store on a $20 e-gift card or merch like shirts, pet toys, and more.
