Fourth of July Annual Parade & Flyover
Thursday, July 4, 2024 - 10 a.m.
Flyover: Approximately 10 a.m.- 10:30 a.m.
- Three loops over Fremont, CA
Parade: 10 a.m. sharp
- Begins at Fremont Library, north on Paseo Padre Boulevard to "downtown" area & ends at Capital Avenue, Fremont, CA
From Fremont 4th of July Parade:
"Annual Parade Flyover Schedule:
- Depart Livermore @ 9:30am. Follow 680 freeway to 24 to Golden Gate Bridge and flyover Marina District.
- Fremont @ 10:30am. Will make 3 loops around Fremont.
"Parade: Step-off 10 a.m. sharp.
"Fremont 4th of July Parade Nonprofit 2024 theme: 'Peace, Love and Fremont'
"Please be advised that the following read closures will be in effect from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM:
- Paseo Padre Parkway between Mowry and Stevenson
- Capitol Avenue between Paseo and State
- Liberty Street between Beacon and Capitol
- Walnut Ave between Liberty and Paseo
- Hastings Street between Mowry and Capitol
- Stevenson Blvd between Civic Center and Paseo
"HANDICAP PARKING: Available in the Kaiser parking lot off of Civic Center Drive.
"PUBLIC PARKING: Public parking is available on side streets outside of the staging area and parade route or in parking lots outside of those areas.
- THERE IS NO PARKING on the parade route, on closed streets or anywhere in the staging area.
"The Fremont 4th of July Parade is a non-profit, 501c3 organization whose mission is to plan and coordinate a 4th of July parade and celebration for and by the citizens of Fremont and surrounding cities. The parade and related events are funded by community sponsorship and donations. We are not affiliated with the City of Fremont."
