Suspects Arrested For Over 100 Pieces Of Stolen Mail In Livermore: LPD

Livermore police arrested two people they say were driving a stolen car full of stolen credit cards and mail.

LIVERMORE, CA — Two suspects accused of stealing credit cards and more than 100 pieces of mail were arrested in Livermore, according to the Livermore Police Department.

On June 20, Livermore officers say they located a stolen black Nissan Maxima near the San Francisco Premium Outlets. As police were recovering the vehicle, they said they saw two people approach the car then walk away.

Officers arrested 33-year-old Karris Elliot of Oakland, who had a felony warrant and was in possession of stolen credit cards and keys to the stolen car.

Officers also arrested Zeno Perez of Oakland, whom police say also had arrest warrants. Officers searched the car and said they found more than 100 pieces of stolen mail.

Elliot and Perez were arrested on several charges, including buying or receiving a stolen vehicle, possession of methamphetamine, and mail theft charges. They were booked into Santa Rita Jail.
