Driver Slams Into Store, And Thieves Make Off With $25K In Shoes

A group of burglars intentionally crashed into a shoe store in LA and made off with about $25,000 in shoes.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A group of about 10 people made off with $25,000 in shoes after intentionally crashing a car into a store in Gramercy Park.

According to police, a white Kia crashed into the store in the 2100 block of Century Boulevard early Thursday morning.

Surveillance video from the store shows the car ramming into the glass windows of the store and denting the metal security gate enough for people to slip under. Immediately following the crash, a group of people ran out from another car parked in the parking lot and into the store.

The suspects are seen grabbing shoes and sports clothing from inside and passing them to each other before fleeing the scene.

The store owner told police that about $25,000 in shoes were stolen. No arrests have been made.
