"Join us for a fun-filled day at Joaquin Miller Park in Oakland on July 4th. Immerse yourself in a day of excitement and togetherness. Celebrate with the community in GREEN, BLACK, and GOLD . 
"This is an in-person event that promises to be a memorable experience. Get ready to enjoy a wide range of activities throughout the day. From action-packed community partner organization activities to games, and of course, delicious Jamaican food (limited amount for a small donation), there's something for everyone! Remember to bring your chairs and comfortable shoes to make the most of this day."

Annual 4th Of July Family Day 2024: Joaquin Miller Park, Oakland

We celebrate living our lives at Sunday Assembly! We’re a nonreligious community that meets up to enjoy each other’s company, do service projects, provide mutual support, and have fun. It's true that we gather on one Sunday per month, and although there is an order to our meeting, there’s no religious dogma! Instead, we have speakers on wide-ranging topics, sing fun pop tunes, and have potluck lunch together. And we also get together to have book clubs, meet up at restaurants, go on hikes, see movies, and lots more. 

Our guest speaker this month is Dan McCoy, one of our founding members and a technical director at Pixar. Dan will be talking about storytelling.
Sunday Assemblies are a growing global movement with chapters in Europe, Australia, and other parts of the United States. Our motto is "Live better, help often, wonder more!” We'll come together to sing, listen, think, laugh, and learn!

Join us on Sunday, September 29th, for a ticketed distillery release event and pick-up party for Lot 24 of St. George Single Malt Whiskey.
This event will run from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and include an exceptional tasting experience: Lot 24 alongside Baller American Single Malt Whiskey, Lot 23, and DFS Whiskey (a very limited single malt crafted exclusively for the Duty-Free Shops at LAX, SFO, JFK, and Singapore airports).
Curated cheese pairings will feature Lot 24 and Spiced Pear Liqueur. Each spirit sample will be 0.25 oz.
Master distiller Lance Winters and head distiller/blender Dave Smith will be on-site for Q&amp;A and to sign your bottles.
Each ticket grants you and a guest event admission, a tasting, and one pre-sale bottle of Lot 24. You may optionally add up to two additional bottles of Lot 24 per ticket for a total of three bottles.
In addition to your pre-purchase(s), our bottle shop will be open and fully stocked so you can replenish your other favorites from our portfolio with a maximum of three bottles (or the equivalent of 2.25L) per person.
This event is 21+; no one under 21 will be permitted. A valid ID and a ticket are required to attend.
