SF Bay Area Crab Feeds 2023: All-You-Can-Eat, In-Person & Drive-Thrus

SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CA — Find your crab crackers, melt the butter, and don your bibs! Crab-feed season amps up for 2023.

The coveted tickets are hitting the market as San Francisco Bay Area schools, teams, bands, civic organizations and non-profits prep for their annual extravaganzas — many with the ever-popular, all-you-can-eat format.

And those familiar with the beloved, fundraising traditions know these events usually sell out ... and fast.

This year's offerings are mostly in-person, dine-in fests, plus some with combo, takeout options.

Bookmark this page, as this post is a work-in progress. As more feeds are announced, we will add them. Area feeds typically run December through April.

Possible snafu: The California Department of Fish and Wildlife delayed commercial Dungeness crab season from Nov. 15 to approximately Dec. 1 to protect endangered humpback whales and other marine life from deadly, net entanglements. (In Alaska, snow and king crab harvesting was canceled for 2022-23 due to a major decline in the crustaceans.)

So always confirm with organizers your local feast is proceeding as planned when posted.
