Picture Connecticut: The Big Pink Chair

ELLINGTON, CT — The latest trip to a distinctly Connecticut image takes us to a big pink chair sitting on the lawn of a business in Ellington.

Those driving in the north central Connecticut town usually do a double-take, realize what it is, and then stop for a photo op.

The chair sits at 216 West Road in Ellington, the local address for that section of state Route 83. It sits just off the roadway at Kloter Farms, a business known for crafted sheds, garages and backyard buildings as well as outdoor furniture.
