Picture Connecticut: A Quiet 'Garden' In Litchfield County
The latest installment of the Picture Connecticut series.
WASHINGTON DEPOT, CT — We head to Washington Depot in Litchfield County for this week's Picture Connecticut image.
In the center of the village sits the Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens at One Green Hill, named after Judy Black (1948-2025), a local lover of nature and art.
It was her wish, "to create a garden ... a place to relax ... to dream ... to experience the unfolding of nature ... a place for friends neighbors and children to gather ... to explore ... to play ... to further the spirit of the unique, vibrant and beautiful community of Washington."
