Police are currently debating whether or not to file charges against the man, the Danbury News Times reported. While officers and school officials agree the man's behavior was inappropriate, they have also noted that he was on school grounds legally.

The suspect did not press charges against the student who punched him, according to the Danbury News Times. The man has already been informed by the school's principal that he must get permission from the principal’s office before he is allowed on campus again.
