Why does your mom rock?

Why my mom rocks: My mom rocks because she is my Hero; she is super woman, she is everything to me. As a single mother, she works multiple jobs and does the best she can do to give me a good life. She is one of the toughest people I know and I’m not sure where I would be without her. My mom rocks because she has stuck by my side through everything. I love her more than anything.

Why does she deserve the spotlight?

My mom deserves the spotlight this Mother’s day because I’m not sure she knows how great of a woman she is. I know how much of a toll it took on her when I moved to a new state this winter, but she has been supportive through it all. Each day we go without talking, I reminisce on the simpler times; when I wasn’t such a brat. From the 700 times we’ve gotten lost (this is why I drive places now) to the endless nights snuggling on the couch watching America’s most Wanted (probably the reason I’m scared of being alone at night); to the way she yells at me when I drive 67 mph on the highway, or when she gets mad at me for not shutting the shower curtain; I miss it all so much. Her smile can light up a room. Her obnoxious, never ending laugh can make even the grumpiest of people happy. But most importantly, her love. Her love is what I hang on to on the toughest of days. I know my mother would do anything for me, and she has absolutely no idea how much I truly love her.
