Diner In Fairfield Up For Sale

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Southport Diner property on the Post Road in Southport is for sale, according to the listing on Crexi.com.

An asking price was not disclosed, but the diner, described as a "turn key" restaurant, has received $850,000 in improvements, such a new commercial kitchen, new roof and new HVAC system.

The diner seats 140 patrons, and measures 3,735 square feet, but the building's total square footage is much larger.

"The building has a finished basement of 3,450 s f which houses two walk-in coolers/freezers, a small office, liquor locker, and other mechanical equipment," the listing reads.
