Man Hospitalized After Dog Attack In Fairfield: Report

The victim was reportedly bleeding profusely after being bitten by a dog on Thursday morning.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Bridgeport man was hospitalized after being bitten by a dog while walking to the Fairfield Metro train station on Thursday morning, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reports the victim, 59, was bleeding profusely from a dog bite to his thigh. Two pit bulls ran up to the man while he was walking on Duka Avenue and one attacked him, according to the Post.

The dogs will be quarantined at the Fairfield Animal Shelter for 14 days.
