Contractor Facing Felony Charge Related To Skipped Job In Glastonbury

GLASTONBURY, CT — A Massachusetts man is facing a number of charges related to a contractor skipping out on a job in Glastonbury, police said.

On June 27, Glastonbury Police arrested Abdullah Yusufi, 36, on a warrant. He was charged with violating home improvement requirements, violating a notice in a sales agreement, violating the home solicitation sale act and second-degree larceny.

Police said he is accused of taking a payment for a roof repair in Glastonbury and not completing the work.

Yusufi posted a $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on July 25, police said.

Second-degree larceny is a felony related to "stealing" something valued in the $10,000 range.
