American Pickers Looking For Hidden CT Treasures

Is it junk or a valuable antique? American Pickers is looking for leads on interesting Connecticut finds.

MILFORD, CT — Reality TV show American Pickers is looking for hidden treasure in the Milford area. Hosts Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz travel the country in search of antiques that are often hidden or considered junk. The items are restored and then sold.

The show is planning to come to New England and has contacted the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Wolfe has been a lifelong "picker" and owns Antique Archaeology, a shop that sells restored antiques and other vintage items, according to the show's website. Fritz works as Wolfe's partner on the road. The show often highlights history lessons through the lens of antiques and collectibles.
