Why does your mom rock?

I am the youngest of 6 children and have many reasons and stories why my mom rocks! My mom raised us 6 kids working a full time and going back to school and getting a nursing degree when I was 9 years old. She was always there when one of was down or feeling blue. She was our taxi when we needed a ride to a friends or to one of the many sports we all did. She was not only a mom to us but every kid in our neighborhood. Our door was always open even to friends that needed a place to stay. She would take us camping in the summer on her own while dad stayed home and worked. Even as we have all grown and have families of our own she is still there to lend a hand or even just and ear. It’s been a very short time since Dad’s passing but Mom has not let that get her down she still gives her time at the Beth-El homeless shelter and soup kitchen. These are just a few of the reasons my mom rocks. She rocks and always will rock in my book.
