Police Identify Victim Killed in Fatal Old Lyme Crash

OLD LYME, CT - State police have identified a Florida woman who was killed in a crash on Interstate 95 over the weekend.

Police said Lynda Ranee Salek, of Bonita Springs, Florida, was killed after the SUV she was riding in struck a guardrail on Sunday afternoon, according to a release. The driver, Heather Ann Otenti, suffered minor injuries.

The vehicle had traveled down a steep embankment before hurtling into the air and crashing into a tree. The crash closed the northbound side of the highway between exits 70 and 71, state police said.
