Car Bursts Into Flames At Busy Store In Vernon
A scary scene unfolded at a store in Vernon Monday.
VERNON, CT — A car burst into flames in the parking lot of a busy store in Vernon Monday morning, fire officials said.
The car was parked at the CVS/Pharmacy on Talcottville Road near Vernon Circle.
When they arrived at the scene, firefighters encountered a sedan engulfed in fire and the flames were closed to a neighboring vehicle, fire officials said.

The fire was quickly extinguished.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by Vernon police and the Vernon Fire Marshal's Office.
