MANATEE COUNTY, FL — One person was hospitalized in a Wednesday night shooting outside a Bradenton bar, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Deondrink Anderson, 49, and Jordan Glanz, 27, got into an argument after getting into a vehicle accident in the parking lot of the Oneco Rose Bar, 103 Cortez Road, around 11:30 p.m., the agency said.

During the argument, Anderson was shot once in the torso and Glanz left the scene. The victim was hospitalized and is in stable condition.

Glanz later contacted deputies and claimed that he shot the victim in self-defense, the sheriff’s office said.

Based on witness testimony and other evidence, he was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
