Mullen noted that defensive back Shawn Davis of Miami is recovering from an injury. "One guy that might still be slow is Shawn Davis, a little bit still nursing the hamstring.," said Mullen. "Everybody else should be ready to roll."

The game takes place 8 p.m. Dec. 30 at Hard Rock stadium and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.

Mullen said his team will be locked in "when it's time for football" but he wants his players to have time off over the holidays. Despite his team's better record, he is taking his opponent seriously.

"This is a team that played for their conference championship and still won their division," he said of Virginia.

Florida on the other hand has been to the Orange Bowl four times.

"We're going to come out there ready to play,"Mullen predicted.
