Man Accused Of Firing Gun At Tampa Police During Domestic Dispute

TAMPA, FL — A hostage situation ended peacefully Sunday when a man surrendered to Tampa police.

Tampa police were called to the 10000 block of north 21st Street at 6:30 p.m. for a domestic disturbance. When they arrived, police said Rjaheshwar Parsanlal, 61, fired a gun in their direction. No police were hurt.

The Tampa Police Hostage Negotiation Team was called in and negotiated Parsanlal's surrender.
