Jackson Healthcare CEO To Host Christmas Party For Foster Children

Rick Jackson, a former foster child himself, will host the party on Monday at his headquarters on Northwinds Parkway in Alpharetta.

A CEO who knows what it’s like to go through the foster care system on Monday will host a lavish Christmas party for children facing a similar fate.

Rick Jackson, CEO of Alpharetta-based Jackson Healthcare, will host the party for dozens of north Georgia foster children from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 22.

The party will take place at Jackson Healthcare’s headquarters at 2655 Northwinds Parkway in Alpharetta.

According to a press release, the children attending the parting were removed from their homes and placed in “loving, stable” ones through FaithBridge Foster Care, a faith-based nonprofit organization that assists with the placement of children in foster homes. Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit and children will have the opportunity to partake in gingerbread cookie-making festivities.

Jackson, a former foster child, directs the nation’s third largest healthcare staffing company. He will be joined by FaithBridge CEO Bill Hancock, who has dedicated his entire career to helping at-risk children and families “with a special understanding from his experience as a pastor and homeless teen,” the news release said.
