Belnick Wants To Hire Warehouse Clerks, Forklift Operators

The Georgia Department of Labor will partner with the Canton-based company to host a hiring event on Thursday, Sept. 11.

The Georgia Department of Labor will help Canton-based Belnick Inc., a company that manufactures office chairs and other furnishings, recruit a number of warehouse workers for its plant on Thursday, Sept. 11.

The company will be recruiting general warehouse clerks and experienced forklift operators from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at its facility at 4350 Ball Ground Highway.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA, regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. The employer will discuss available shifts and benefits during the interviews. Salaries for the forklift operators range from $12 toΒ $14 an hour, depending on experience. Salaries begin at $10 an hour for the clerks.

Job seekers will complete a company application at the recruitment and interviews may take place that day. The company will conduct a drug-screening test and a background check on applicants.
