CMANS Honors Retiring Canton Police Chief, Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy

The Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad's control board members recently honored Robert Merchant and Vic West for their service.

The Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (C.M.A.N.S.) control board members presented retiring Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Vic West and retiring Canton Police Chief Robert Merchant with plaques today for their dedication and support the two have provided to C.M.A.N.S.

The Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad is a joint task force working in Cherokee County to investigate drug related violations.

Participating agencies include the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office, the Canton Police Department, the Woodstock Police Department, the Holly Springs Police Department, the Ball Ground Police Department, the Cherokee County Marshal’s Office, the District Attorney’s Office for the Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Georgia State Patrol.
