Chili Cook-Off To Benefit Relay For Life

The cook-off will be held on Friday, March 20 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Cartersville residents should mark their calendars for what’s sure to be one of the most delicious events all year.

The Blue Ribbon Chili Cook-Off, presented by The Hope Center and Northwest Georgia Regional Cancer Coalition, is scheduled for Friday, March 20.

Several crock pots full of mouth-watering chili concoctions in all flavors will available for sampling at the event, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Classroom 2 at Cartersville Medical Center. The cost is $5 per serving, which includes one bowl of chili and toppings, brownie and a drink.

Residents will be able to sample three selections and vote for their favorite recipes. This fundraiser benefits the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life initiative.
