Donations For Forsyth County Youth Programs Top $4,000

The Christmas in Castille light show helped the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office secure donations for area youth organizations.

An exquisite Christmas light display in Forsyth County was used for a good cause this year, generating thousands of dollars for local youth organizations.

According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, the “Christmas in Castille” light show in Alpharetta raised $4,000 to benefit Jesse’s House and Bald Ridge Lodge, organizations which provide assistance to Forsyth’s girls and boys. Christmas in Castille reports its original fundraising goal for the year was $700.

The light show ran from Dec. 4 to Dec. 27 between 6 and 9 p.m. on Thursdays through Saturdays. The home at 4220 Tivoli Way was decked out with more than 55,000 Christmas lights expertly synched to music, providing a dazzling and fun Christmas display for families.

In celebration of the success of the 2014 Christmas in Castille program, Forsyth County Sheriff Duane Piper treated several children and staff at Bald Ridge Lodge and Jessie’s House to a free dinner at Texas Roadhouse in Cumming.
