Forsyth County Family Haven Receives Donations
The Cumming shelter received generous gifts of blankets, clothing, bedding, and an infusion of cash.
The Forsyth County Family Haven has some extra supplies for the women and children under its care thanks to a donation from an Alpharetta company.
DataScan delivered two carloads of clothing, blankets, bedding, and other necessities for the haven on Monday, according to the haven’s Facebook page. Additionally, DataScan presented the haven with a check for $2,000.
All donated money and items will be put back into the haven, which protects women and children escaping from domestic violence situations across Forsyth County.
