Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Welcomes New Deputy

The new deputy has served in Lumpkin County and has a criminal justice degree.

The Forsyth County’s Sheriff’s Office has grown by one with the recent swearing in of a new deputy by Sheriff Duane K. Piper.

According to the office’s Facebook page, Deputy Chembars was sworn in last week. Although he is new to the force, he brings two years of patrol experience with the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of North Georgia.
