Northside Hospital to Offer Free Heart Screening

Northside Hospital has announced a free cardiovascular screening in Cumming, scheduled for Saturday, April 18.

Heart and blood vessel, also known as cardiovascular, diseases are the number one killers for Americans, according to the hospital.

Health care professionals will screen participants at the free event to determine any risks of heart diseases, including heart attack and stroke. The screening will include a risk assessment, blood pressure reading, total cholesterol and glucose testing, body mass index analysis and a one-on-one consultation with a professional.

The screening will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at Northside Hospital Forsyth’s Education Center 3rd Floor, located at 1200 Northside Forsyth Drive in Cumming. Free parking will be available.
