Winning $7M Instant Lottery Ticket Sold in Cumming

Gerard Kaizer has claimed his winning Max the Money instant ticket.

A winning Georgia Lottery instant ticket $7 million was recently sold in Cumming.

The winner, Gerard Kaizer, of Dawsonville, bought the Max The Money instant ticket at Leon’s Food Mart, located at 5410 Matt Highway. Kaizer claimed his prize on March 13 at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Duluth.

Since it began, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $16 billion to the state for education.

All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. Over 1.7 million students have received HOPE, and over 1.3 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary Pre-K program.
