Good Morning,

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office wants to thank all of the individuals who came out over night and this morning and assisted in the search for Holden Astrachan. Holden was riding his four wheeler yesterday(01/28/15) evening when he had some type of mechanical trouble. With it getting dark and cold, Holden lost his way.

Deputies located Holden near a sewer pump station which was about a mile from where left from the day before. Holden was cold, wet, and hungry but in good health.

Thank you for all of the donations of food, coffee, and snacks from community businesses and most importantly thank you for your prayers.

WE are all glad this turned out to be a happy ending.

Authorities are searching for a Paulding County teenager who has been missing since after school on Wednesday.

Sheriff’s Office spokesman Cpl. Ashley Henson said in an email that Holden Michael Astrachan, 17, was last seen riding his four-wheeler after school near the Victoria Heights subdivision off Ivey Gulledge Road.

When the teen did not return, friends began to worry.

“Deputies have been on scene since yesterday evening searching the area on four-wheelers,” Henson said in the email. “The Georgia State Patrol brought their helicopter out overnight and searched the area but did not find Astrachan.”

He was wearing blue jeans and a blue American Eagle sweatshirt, and riding a greem Honda four-wheeler.
