Douglasville Elementary School 'Canstruction' Turns Art into Donation

See list of items requested to complete Eastside ES's project.

Eastside Elementary School is holding a Canstruction, unique charity which hosts competitions, exhibitions and events showcasing colossal structures made entirely out of full cans of food.

After the structures are built, the creations go on display to the public as a giant art exhibition. At the end of the event, all food is donated to local hunger relief organizations. Eastside will begin its project by building the transformer “Bumble Bee” as he comes out of a school bus. Their goal is to make our community a better place by transforming hunger as well as providing education for our children by using their mathematics and sciences skills.

In order to complete this project, Eastside will need the following items donated:
