Douglasville PD Sgt. To Take 'Polar Plunge' for Good Cause

Team Douglasville PD “Team Law Dawgs” is raising money for the Georgia Special Olympics by jumping in the lake — this month!

The department posted on Facebook that Sgt. Matt Underwood is getting ready to take the 2015 Polar Plunge Feb. 21 at Lake Lanier.
The event will be held at Sunset Cove at Lake Lakes Islands. Registration opens at 11 a.m. and plunging begins at 1:30 p.m.

“Team Law Dawgs” has a fundraising goal of $500.
