Cobb Police Again Look at NBA Star Over Child Abuse Allegations

Authorities are not commenting on the specifics of the case.

The Cobb County Police Department is looking in to new allegations of child abuse directed at a professional basketball player, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Cobb police did not comment on specifics of their investigation into Dwight Howard, but social media alleges that the 8-time All-Star hit his son with a belt. The mother of the child Howard allegedly struck, former “Basketball Wives” reality show star Royce Reed, claims that recent reports that Howard had been cleared of charges in Florida were false.

The AJC reports that Howard, 28, is seeking full custody of the child.
