Johns Creek Businessman To Deliver Truck Full of Toys To Fire Station

Ron Green, owner of the Cauley Creek Reclamation Plant, will deliver the toys as part of the city's 2014 Toys For Tots campaign.

Johns Creek businessman Ron Green on Thursday, Dec. 18, will bring a Humvee full of toys to Fire Station 61 to round out Johns Creek’s Toys for Tots campaign for 2014.

Green, who owns the Cauley Creek Reclamation Plant, for years has loaded up his vehicle with toys for the Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots effort. The toys will be unloaded at the fire station at 10265 Medlock Bridge Parkway.

Mayor Mike Bodker will also be present.

The city placed 10 large boxes in five locations: City Hall, Park Place adult center at Newtown Park and Fire Stations, 61, 62, and 63. The boxes have already been filled and emptied once since the campaign began on Nov. 17. Other sponsors were Crossfit Johns Creek and Johns Creek Civitans civic club.

This is the eighth year Johns Creek has participated in the Toys for Tots campaign, which collects new, unwrapped toys for needy children.
