The National Council of Negro Women, Gwinnett Section will present its 2nd annual Black Family Reunion, taking place at Rhodes Jordan Park on Saturday, August 10th, 2024, featuring business sponsors and community partners within the area.
The Black Family Reunion is Gwinnett NCNW’s signature summer event. This event will have multiple activities for family members of all ages. A live DJ, family friendly games, food, and prizes will be given away. This is a free event for the Gwinnett community taking place rain or shine.
Families are encouraged to bring their tents, lawn chairs, blankets, and food baskets to relax in the open green area or shaded pavilion while taking in the tranquility of the park’s pond just steps away. A playground area for children borders the second pavilion where guests can engage in lively board and card games. Numerous grills will be available and event sponsors will be featured in the main gathering spot to engage with attendees.
The Black Family Reunion will take place from 12 noon to 5 p.m. on August 10, 2024.
