Lilburn Police Issue $100 Bills to Unsuspecting Drivers

Lilburn Police stopped drivers along Highway 29 in Gwinnett County to give 50 drivers $100 bills.

Officers from Lilburn Police’s traffic unit took to the streets Christmas Eve to give money to people in need in an unconventional manner.

Rather than issuing drivers tickets, officers issued motorists along Highway 29 in Gwinnett County $100 bills. After seeing a TV news report of a similar act of kindness in Missouri, an anonymous “secret Santa” donated $5,000 to Lilburn police, requesting that they distribute the $100 bills to unsuspecting drivers, The Gwinnett Daily Post reports.
