Atlanta Colleges Named Among State's Best

Two schools with call the city home made the top three of a recent list compiled by an education website.

Both Emory University and Georgia Tech have made a list of the ten best colleges in the state of Georgia, with both schools coming in among the top three.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a recent study by Niche.com factored in survey results from students and alumni, data from private and public databases, and proprietary data to determine the best colleges in each state in the country and the best colleges in the country as a whole.

The results for Georgia put Tech as the #3 school in Georgia, behind hated rival UGA. However, Emory was without equal and was named the best college in the state by Niche.
