With construction currently underway, the second Zaxby’s restaurant in Norcross is coming soon to 6895 Jimmy Carter Blvd, near the Peachtree Corners-Norcross line.

A Southeast favorite for chicken fingers and wings, licensees Dan McClure and Jon Dove plan to open the new quick-casual restaurant in December and will celebrate its grand opening by giving away a Fanatic Pack of 52 Free Dealz – meaning a free item at Zaxby’s each week for a year – to the first 100 guests.

“We opened our first Zaxby’s eight years ago because we were drawn to the brand’s culture, reputation and potential for tremendous growth,” said Dan McClure, co-licensee of the new location. “Zaxby’s has had great success opening in thriving markets within close-knit communities. We believe this second Norcross location will be an ideal fit and will offer a more convenient option to many residents.”

The sixteenth for Gwinnett County, the Norcross restaurant will be the second in the town and the second for McClure and Dove. The team also owns a Zaxby’s in Snellville and is looking for sites to open additional locations.

Zaxby’s currently operates more than 655 locations in 15 states — Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia. Zaxby’s provides chicken fingers, wings, sandwiches, salads and more in a fun, relaxing atmosphere.

With seating for 60, the new 3,400 square-foot location will feature Zaxby’s unique interior design — a bright, open interior décor complemented by custom vintage prints and school memorabilia. Zaxby’s also offers drive-thru services to meet the needs of customers on the go.

“We are putting together a team of 50 residents from the local community with a track record of providing encore experiences to guests,” said Jon Dove, co-licensee of new Norcross location. “We’re a different kind of restaurant with a different kind of attitude — from the food and service we provide to our customers to the respect we have for each other.”
