Roswell Organization Sells Beanbags, Chairs Featuring Positive Messages From Makeover Families

The furniture offered by Sunshine on a Ranney Day features key phrases that makeover children and families use on a daily basis.

Sunshine on a Ranney Day (SOARD), a non-profit organization that creates dream room and home makeovers for children with long-term illnesses, is now offering a line of ”comfortable and meaningful” chairs and beanbags just in time for the holiday season.

SORAD co-founder Holly Ranney, who has 17 years of experience in the furniture industry, is putting that knowledge to work in the creation of these pieces of furniture. Net proceeds from the sale of the chairs and beanbags will go towards SORAD makeovers.

SOARD is a leading children’s charity in metro Atlanta and provides residential ADA-compliant modifications, therapy rooms and unique children’s room design for families in need of assistance.

Its efforts rely on the donations from the public and the generosity of great partners.

Ranney worked with Comfort Research to custom design a line of chairs and beanbags that feature key phrases that the makeover children and their families use on a daily basis to help them overcome obstacles big and small.

For example, “I can, I am, I will,” is something that Brianna Hudson says to herself every day. Doctors told Hudson that she would never walk again after a terrible automobile accident. Despite that prognosis, she is proving them wrong, SORAD said.
