Roswell-based Sunshine on a Ranney Day will host the free family event on Sunday, Dec. 14.

A Roswell nonprofit organization that flips living spaces for families and children in need will host an opportunity for children to learn about volunteerism while mingling with Santa Claus.

Sunshine on a Ranney Day will host Sunshine with Santa from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14 at its newly renovated offices. The offices are at 42-C Oak Street in Roswell.

Sunshine with Santa, a free family event, will include children’s activities such as making ornaments for the office tree, creating get-well cards for SOARD kids, face painting and a tour of a wacky and fun Fur Bus.

Those attending will meet some of the children and families who have received home renovations. There will be a photo display of the home renovations and SOARD’s accomplishments.
