Bank Donates Gift Cards To Help Feed Sandy Springs Families

Signature Bank of Georgia recently donated the cards to Sandy Springs-based Community Assistance Center.

Signature Bank of Georgia recently organized an employee campaign to provide gift cards for families in need in the Sandy Springs area.

These cards were presented to the Community Assistance Center to help provide Thanksgiving meals to these less fortunate residents.

“Donations like these help families on fixed incomes and those who are struggling to stay in their homes due to unexpected crises, such as job loss or illness,” said Tamara Carrera, CEO and executive director of CAC. “As these families work toward their goal of becoming self-sufficient once again, they greatly appreciate the support provided by Signature Bank of Georgia.”

Signature Bank of Georgia encourages its employees to volunteer in the Sandy Springs community and during 2014, 95 percent of its employees logged nearly 200 hours of service. The bank encourages participation by giving employees up to four hours a month to volunteer at a place of their choice.
