In January, she was invited to appear on the Steve Harvey Show to surprise Mr. Harvey on this birthday and thank him and the Foundation for all that she has learned through the mentoring programs. She was also surprised along with Steve Harvey by a donation to the Foundation for her $50,000 scholarship.

She hopes to attend Howard University or Spellman College in the fall.
