Snellville Mayor Takes Whipped Cream in Face for Childhood Cancer

The city also declared Wednesday as Peyton Greene Day, honoring a local 3-year-old who has acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

The City of Snellville declared Wednesday as Peyton Greene Day, honoring the local 3-year-old who is battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).

At Monday’s city council meeting, Mayor Kelly Kautz accepted the Whipped Cream Pie Challenge, to raise money for cancer research. The Whipped Cream Challenge is similar to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge that has swept the Internet. She challenges other mayors in Gwinnett to do the same.

Peyton’s family was on hand at the Monday meeting to spread the word about childhood cancer and urge the community to help.
