From Georgia Lottery

One lucky Stone Mountain man is ramped up with excitement after winning a prize, taxes paid, from the Georgia Lottery. William Jenkins, 45, played the instant game $350,000 Taxes Paid and won a $350,000 top prize.

Jenkins stopped for gas at BP Redan, 4794 Redan Road in Stone Mountain, where he purchased the ticket. He scratched it while in the store.

“I started to break down,” he said. “If it wasn’t that I needed gas, I wouldn’t have stopped.”

A father of three, Jenkins and his wife, Lakeisha, anticipate purchasing a new home.

“This is turning out to be a good year for us,” he said. “We’re going to pay off bills and be stress free.”
