Two River Ridge High School students placed second in a statewide video contest.

Raven Anthony and Logan Case are the runners-up in the “We’re Not Gonna Take It” video contest, which was sponsored by the Office of State Attorney General Olens.

More than 200 entries were received for the contest, which was aimed at preventing prescription drug abuse among teens. The contest was open to all Georgia high school students and judged by a panel of TV reporters from around the state.

The video produced by Raven and Logan promoted a healthy lifestyle that included rejection of prescription drug abuse, by showing the contrast of life with and without prescription drug abuse.

“Congratulations to all of the winners of the ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ video contest,” said Attorney General Olens. “We received many excellent entries, and I know the judges had a difficult task in choosing a winner. The winning video sends a strong message that abusing prescription drugs is not a game and can turn deadly quickly.”
