BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

ARRESTS

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

  • Martin Gutierrez, 29, of the 400 block of Gregg Lane, Buffalo Grove, is accused of driving while license revoked, illegally tinted windshields, and was arrested at 4:16 p.m. June 21, at Buffalo Grove Road near Old Oak Drive. He was released and assigned a court date of July 19.
  • Marcos A. Morales, 53, of the 900 block of Cummings Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license revoked, failure to reduce speed, having an expired registration, and was arrested following a property damage crash investigation at 4:43 p.m. June 24, in the 400 block of W. Dundee Road. He was released and assigned a court date of July 19.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Ramon Eduardo Velasquez, 35, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 2:29 a.m. June 23, following a three-car crash in the 0-10 block of Oak Creek Drive. He was released and assigned a court date of July 9.
  • Wilber I. Ramirez, 41, of the 800 block of S. Jackson St., Waukegan, is accused of aggravated DUI, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, DUI alcohol, driving on a revoked license, and was arrested at 2:05 p.m. June 23, at Lake Cook and Arlington Heights roads. He was released and assigned a court date of July 31.

INCIDENTS

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Police responded to the 200 block of Le Parc Circle for a report of a residential burglary that occurred during the overnight hours of June 21. Someone had entered the home and stole various items.

RETAIL THEFT

Police responded to Woodman's Grocery, 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway, June 19, for a report of a retail theft that had occurred on June 19. The complainant told police two people had entered the store, placed various items in a shopping cart, and then left without paying.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

A complainant reported at 5:29 p.m. June 25, criminal damage to property at Kilmer Park, 655 Golfview Terrace. Someone had set off fireworks in a portable toilet at the park by the baseball field. Police found damage to the hand sanitizer and debris on the floor.
