Edward Hospital Coronavirus Numbers On Rise Again

NAPERVILLE, IL — The number of coronavirus inpatients is on the rise at Edward Hospital as cases surge throughout DuPage County. At press time, Edward Hospital is treating 64 patients with coronavirus, according to an update from hospital spokesperson Keith Hartenberger.

The numbers reflect a sharp increase from late September, when Edward Hospital was treating 17 coronavirus inpatients.

In the last 24 hours, eight inpatients were discharged from Edward Hospital after being treated for coronavirus.

Hartenberger added that there have been no deaths from coronavirus at Edward Hospital in the last 24 hours. In total, there have been 52 coronavirus-related deaths at the hospital.
