Josselyn Opens New HQ In Northbrook, Launches $20M Capital Campaign
Josselyn, now located at 1135 Skokie Blvd., intends for the money raised to ensure mental health access for 10,000 people by 2026.
NORTHBROOK, IL — It's a busy time for Josselyn, a community mental health provider. The nonprofit, which originated in 1951, recently moved its headquarters to Northbrook. In addition, it launched its 75th anniversary Capital Campaign last week with a goal of raising $20 million to "enhance and expand" its facilities and services.
Josselyn, located at 1135 Skokie Blvd., said the money raised for the campaign will ensure mental health access for 10,000 people by 2026. To date, the agency has $17.3 million toward the goal.
"The [campaign] will allow us to go and grow where the need is. Josselyn's vision of mental health for all means that we work hard to help everyone receive care, regardless of age, income, language, or background," said Susan Resko, CEO and president. "We want Josselyn to continue to offer affordable, comprehensive, quality care for the next 75 years."

"Mental health is crucial for the well-being of our communities," Schneider said. "I'm proud to support [Josselyn's] success and work with them to eliminate barriers to mental health services."
Last year, Schneider successfully advocated for Josselyn to receive $1.2 million in funding with the 2022 appropriation process to "further build out" the Northbrook location.
Josselyn, formerly the Josselyn Center, offers a full range of therapeutic care, including therapy, psychiatry, case management, and employment support, plus psychological testing and an intensive outpatient program for youth.
In addition to Northbrook, Josselyn has locations in Grayslake, Highland Park, Highwood, Northfield and Waukegan.
