2017 Downtown Indianapolis Veterans Day Service, Parade

Details of Saturday's Veterans Day festivities in downtown Indianapolis, and how to honor a special veteran.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – More than 80 units will be marching in Saturday's annual Flanner and Buchanan Veterans Day Parade throughout downtown Indianapolis. Once the Veterans Day Service concludes at the War Memorial, the parade kicks off at 12 p.m. and will begin at Michigan and Pennsylvania Streets, according to Do317.com. The parade will move south on Pennsylvania to New York Street, west to Meridian Street and finishes at North Street, according to the site.

The event is free for all ages.

Drivers and all travelers should be aware of several downtown street closures starting that morning and throughout the day on Saturday, Nov. 11.
